Here at Taylor Digital we recently celebrated our three year anniversary as a company. We are very proud to still be moving strong after three years and it would not be possible without our happy and loyal customers. For the last three years we have focused all of our energy on our customers projects, launching some very successful web sites. During this time, we neglected our own web site very much and it was due for a redesign.

Last Monday on June 29th we launched phase 1 of our redesign project and are very happy with the results. We have added some new features to help past and potential customers keep in touch with us. We built our web site on the same platform that we build all of our sites with, our open source content management system (CMS). We have included on our site the addition of a blog module (which is how you are reading this now), a rotating featured project area built in flash and other fun features. I will go over most of the very briefly so you know what all of our hard work went into. All of these wonderful features can be integrated into your own web site if it is designed by Taylor Digital.

One of our favorite additions is the featured project rotation on the home page that was built in flash. With this we are able to spotlight recently launched web sites and other projects we like. in a creative and interactive way.We built a custom rotation system in that will automatically rotate through previously chosen files on a timer. This feature has the ability to skip between any of the five items by letting the user click the menu in the lower right.

We value our customers opinions of us because we know that without happy customers, we cannot exist. Our strong relationships with our customers helped us realize that we wanted to spotlight client testimonials to share their good experiences. We added a client testimonial page to our web site and a random testimonial function for our home page. Every time you refresh the page or visit our site, our code will randomly choose which client to spotlight.

To help current customers navigate our site a bit easier we added some beautifully styled elements to the footer of our web site. We have many customers that plan and track their projects through our online systems and need to login easily. With this item customers can submit content, view the current progress of their site and interact with our team. For companies who have already launched their web sites, we have an area for them to submit potential issues directly to our team. We have added the addition of our blog to help both past and potential customers keep in touch with the team at Taylor Digital. The blog is built on the same open source platform as our content management system (CMS).

Because we offer many services to our customers as a web development firm, as you can imagine we have a lot we would like to tell you. To help keep the clutter down but still have our information available, we utilized a simple feature to accomplish this goal. With our spry tabs feature we made room to display all of our services in a simple and effective way. Not only will you find the services we offer, but you can also see different solutions available for each service. You can easily click from one item to the next avoiding any scrolling or heavy image loading.

Here at Taylor Digital a lot of blood, sweat and good ol’ elbow grease goes into the creation of our customers web sites. It would be a shame if we didn’t share the our wonderful creations with the rest of the world. With the addition of product features on our portfolio page we can share some of our projects and what we created with our visitors. The flash feature is on a set timer, has special effects built in and utilizes a special XML code that will pull content from a pre set folder.

We are very proud of the new Taylor Digital company web site and are very pleased by it’s warm reception by the web design community. Since our launch last week we have been added to several web gallery’s to spotlight our design. You can find some of these web sites below. We are constantly working towards implementing innovative technology to approach our customers goals continue to look for new ways to do so.
